Gas Output in Russia Decreased by 1.7%

It was reported that the total gas output in Russia was 3.74688 hundred billion cubic meters from January to July, 2014, decreasing by 1.7%, compared with the same period of 2013, according to the data of the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Energy. Meanwhile, Russia exported 1.17 hundred billion cubic meters, increasing by 4.4% on year-on-year basis.
 
From January to July, 2014, the total gas output of Gazprom was 2.60881 hundred billion cubic meters, decreasing 4.7%, compared with the same period of last year. The incomplete gas output of Novatec was 36.314 billion cubic meters, increasing by 7.5% on year-on-year basis.
 
Domestic gas consumption in Russia was 2.61284 hundred billion cubic meters from January to July, 2014, reducing by 2.3% on year-on-year basis. Export volume of gas to the countries outside the Commonwealth of the Independent States was 80.194 cubic meters, rising by 3.3% and export volume of gas to the Commonwealth of the Independent States was 28.295 cubic meters, increasing by 8.8%. Import volume from other countries was 15.543 billion cubic meters, decreasing by 12.7%, compared with the same period of last year. 
 
From January to July, 2014, export volume of LNG (liquefied natural gas) from Russia to countries in Asia-Pacific region was 8.514 billion cubic meters, rising by 0.7%, compared with the same period of last year.
 
Based on the data of the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Energy, total gas output in Russia was 6.68021 hundred cubic meters in 20113, increasing by 2%, compared with the previous year. Total gas export volume was 2.04911 hundred cubic meters, rising by 10% on year-on-year basis.
